Chicken 65

Ingredients

500 gm chicken thigh, bite-size pieces

For Marination
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tsp fresh garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper powder, freshly ground
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp corn flour
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp lemon juice
A few drops of red colour
Salt to taste

For Deep Frying
Refined oil

For Tempering
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 inch ginger, chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 sprig of curry leaves
2 green chillies, split lengthwise

Directions

1. Marinate chicken with all ingredients for at least 2 hours.

2. Deep fry chicken in hot oil and drain it on a kitchen towel.

3. In a non-stick pan, temper cumin seeds, chopped garlic and other ingredients. Keep stirring for a few minutes.

4. Add fried chicken and toss well.

5. Serve with fresh onion slices and lemon wedges.
