Commitment to Consistent High Quality

From the farm to your table, rest assured that the U.S. takes the lead in providing safe, delectable, and nourishing food to the world.

The U.S. has been able to establish a global reputation for unparalleled poultry quality, thanks to advancements in poultry genetics, production, and processing. These cutting-edge technologies have revolutionized the industry, ensuring that consumers receive the highest quality poultry products.

From Us To You

The United States stands as one of the world’s leading producers of food and agricultural products, including millions of tons of chicken, turkey, and duck, as well as billions of eggs annually. Throughout the entire process, from breeding to marketing, all U.S. poultry products adhere to strict monitoring and high standards. This meticulous oversight encompasses aspects such as breeding, feeding, slaughter, freezing, packaging, and transportation.

Quality

All export products are inspected and approved by the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which in turn guarantees both quality and safety. The USDA inspection and grading programs ensure proper labelling of all poultry products into one of three grades: Grade “A”, Grade “B” or Grade “C”.

No added Hormones

Today’s chickens are bigger than they used to be. They benefit from almost a century of improvements in breeding, nutrition, veterinary care, and overall bird health – leaving them with healthier bodies and stronger muscles. Hormones are prohibited by law by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) making all chickens and turkeys exported by the United States hormone and steroid free.

Safety

Like all fresh foods, poultry carry a natural microflora that may contain organisms potentially harmful to humans. Food safety is a top concern to the U.S. poultry industry, and companies work hard and spend millions of dollars each year to improve the safety of their products. In addition, proper handling, cooking and storage is essential to maximizing food safety.
